Paint protection film (PPF)
- Wait 48 hours before washing. This is XPEL's guidance for Ultimate Plus and Stealth. It gives the film time to settle.
- Small bubbles or haze are normal for the first few days. They're leftover install solution and disappear as the film dries.
- Pressure washers are OK, but keep your distance. Never aim the spray straight at the film's edges, because that can lift them.
- Get bugs and bird droppings off soon. In Florida, love bug season is real. Rinse them off before they bake on.
- Light scratches heal themselves. Heat from the sun or warm water makes swirl marks in the film disappear.
Window tint
- Keep the windows up for a few days. XPEL says 1 to 5 days depending on the weather. In Florida heat it's usually on the shorter end, but we'll tell you at pickup.
- Haze or small water pockets are normal while the film cures. Don't press on them; they clear up on their own.
- Clean with a soft microfiber and an ammonia-free glass cleaner. Skip anything abrasive.
Ceramic coating
- Keep it dry the first day. XPEL Fusion Plus Premium V2 needs about 6 hours before it can touch water, and a few days to fully cure.
- Wait about a week before the first wash to give the coating the best start.
- Hand wash with pH-neutral soap. Avoid automatic car washes with brushes, which cause swirl marks.
- Skip the wax. The coating does that job. Wax just sits on top and hides the water beading.
- Ask about warranty upkeep. XPEL coating warranties can require periodic inspections. We'll go over what yours needs at pickup.
