Paint protection film questions
What is paint protection film (clear bra)?
PPF, also called clear bra, is a clear urethane film applied over your paint. It takes the hits from rocks, sand and road debris so your factory paint doesn't. XPEL Ultimate Plus is self-healing, so light scratches in the film disappear with heat.
What does a full front PPF package cover?
Our full front covers the front bumper, full hood, front fenders, mirrors and headlights. These are the areas that take the most rock chips on the highway.
What is XPEL Stealth?
Stealth is XPEL's satin-finish paint protection film. It gives gloss paint a factory satin look while protecting it. We offer Stealth as a +$499 upgrade on full-body installs.
Can I put ceramic coating on top of PPF?
Yes, and we recommend it. Ceramic coating over PPF adds gloss and makes the film easier to keep clean. XPEL Fusion Plus is designed to go over both paint and film.
Does PPF hurt my paint if it's removed later?
Not on healthy factory paint. XPEL film is designed to be removed cleanly when the time comes.
