What's the difference between ceramic tint and regular tint?
Regular dyed or carbon tint mostly darkens the glass. Ceramic tint like XPEL Prime XR Plus uses nano-ceramic layers that block infrared heat, so even a lighter shade keeps the car much cooler.
How dark can I tint my windows in Florida?
Florida sets different limits for the front side windows, the rear windows and the windshield, and they differ for cars and for trucks and SUVs. We'll go over the current rules with you and help you choose a shade that's legal and looks right.
Why tint the windshield?
The windshield is the biggest piece of glass on most cars and lets in the most heat. A clear or very light ceramic film rejects heat and UV without noticeably darkening your view.
How long does window tint take to cure?
Plan to keep your windows rolled up for a few days after install. You might see some haze or small water pockets at first; they clear up as the film cures.
Will tint affect my phone or GPS?
No. Prime XR Plus is a non-metal ceramic film, so it won't block cell, GPS, radio or toll-pass signals.
